Our team members were engaged to design, build, pilot and implement a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).

Results

Roll out of our cutting-edge technology, VPP platform and support has enabled the Gold Coast City Council to successfully manage their energy generation and storage assets and better utilise, sell and share energy between Council sites.

• Identified underperforming assets using comparative trend analysis
• Demonstrated how we could manage energy flows more efficiently
• Helped to extend the life of assets by monitoring asset performance
• Maximised energy cost savings and revenue opportunities from the Council’s renewable energy investments
• Helped to deliver stage 1 of Pimpama Sports hub; Australia’s first 100% energy self-sufficient sporting and community hub.
• After successfully piloting the Karit solution at five sites we are now deploying it across many Council locations.
